Just did a run on my lunch break and got one. A few well known high end pvp people were in the group. these things are drawing out everyone

Its not going to be worth 25k when you get those farm bots to stock up on these and sell it for cheap price.

Plus, people now know about this drop areas so it's going to be farm out and the price will drop as the demand and quanity goes up.

Well i skipped in my reading from about page 4 to page 11 so i may have missed it but, do they always drop blue req9 and 15>50? Or are perfectly modded ones like that hard to come by?

Does anyone remember a month or two back when a post was made regarding a blue fiery dragon sword. Tone of people confirmed seeing the weapon in game and that it was real and where it was dropped and blah blah blah. Then someone on the firends list of this individual posted a quote from the original poster stating it was fake. If this is real nice I am glad they finally did it and I think they should do with other Elements (does not necessarily have to be dragon. Like a Shocking Griffin Sword that is purple or has lightening effect. However I wouldnt get your hopes up about it beig real until you yourself see one in game or receive one. If you do they obviosly arent rare enough to pay top dollar for.

Honestly...how many people have done multiple trips to Mineral Springs??

ive gone maybe once per character to do skill capping...and i always avoid the ice imps because they are annoying >.<

Maybe this was always there??

i've done something like 6-8 trips now...and i've only seen one drop...so aggravating...

I just got one about 20 minutes ago after 3 hours of farming, and sold it for 50k. So whoever bought one for 25k, you got a deal.

However, since so many people are going for them, I guess I Got lucky in selling it for 50k. They'll soon be flooding the market with them.

Since the "Icy" part is not in blue can you mod the hilt? Can you mod the pommel? Has anyone tried?

You cannot modify the hilt, but I've seen pommels (ie, Icy Dragon Sword of Fortitude). And I've seen enough screenshots of people posing by the Mineral Springs Seer and in the Ice Cave to be pretty damn certain that's where this happens. I haven't had a chance to go out there myself yet, though.

Just like the Fiery sword, the hilt cannot be modded, which is why their high selling price is only a novelty and will soon wear off. When I first started playing back in May, fiery swords were all the rage because they were something different. Now they're not very popular except with new players who think they look cool.

As for the new sword (already has a nick, "IDS") it's a good specific-use weapon, for fighting fire-based enemies, but not at all flexible.

its in mineral springs at the cave with the status of Lyssa. its the ice imps there that drop it.

theres a map to it. the green areas are where the imps are that drop the sword. i did a quick online search to find a map pic as im at work again...
